Elisabetta Grillo, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. Her research is focused on understanding the role of soluble molecules/growth factors (i.e. Gremlin-1, VEGFs, FGFs, Irisin) and their receptors in human diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. Since 2023, Elisabetta’s research is funded by Cariplo Foundation and it is focused on understanding the role of Gremlin-1 protein during adipose tissue dysfunction. Visit the link for further reading
